Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

For this is the last book of the Harry Potter-Series, I am going to tell about his last year, which he did not spend at Hogwarts, but instead of that, he went on a great adventure with his two closest friends: Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.

At the beginning of the book, Harry is still with his hated aunt and uncle. After a while, but before his 17th birthday (31 July), the Order of the Phoenix takes him away from this house. Six of them take a potion so they will turn into a duplicate of Harry. So now there are seven Harry’s. They all fly, every Harry with his own protector, to a shelter. On the way they get trapped by the followers of Harry’s biggest enemy: Voldemort. Voldemort himself comes too. One of the members of The Order gets killed; Mad Eye. Neither Harry’s owl survives the dangerous trip.


The Death Eaters break in right in the middle of the celebration of Ron’s brother wedding party. Harry, Ron an Hermione are forced to escape.

After maybe a month they fall into the ministry to steal a medaillon, which will help them to kill Voldemort forever. If they destroy it. There are more of these and they have the name horcruxs. After a accident at the ministry they cannot return to there shelter and so they are forced to sleep in a magic tent in forests.

After a fight between Ron and Harry, Ron leaves.
Harry and Hermione decide they will go to Godric’s Hollow, where Harry is born.
Here they get attacked by the snake of Voldemort, named Nagini. They survive, with big scars, but Harry’s wand not.

Later on, in a cold night, a Patronus (a deer of light that offers protection) brings him to frozen pool in the forest. He sees the sword of Gryffindor is in it. He gets undressed and dives into the water. But when he has the sword he can’t get out of the water. Ron saves him and the sword too. Together they destroy the medaillon.

The three of them decide to go to Xenophilius Lovegood, the father of a good friend of them, Luna Lovegood. He is also the head editor of a magazine that supports Harry. When they are here, Xenophilius Lovegood tells them a story about 3 brothers who wanted to defeat death. They could do that with the elder wand, the Resurrection Stone and the invisibility cloak. These things are the Deathly Hallows. Xenophilius however betrays the three friends to the Death Eaters. Fortunately they escape.

Later, in a argument, Harry says the forbidden word: Voldemort. Death Eaters track them down and they take them in prison in Malfoy Maynor. Their escape costs a friends life. Because of this, Harry gets mentally stronger. In their shelter (Ron’s brother’s house) They are making plans to steal horcrux cup from Gringotts. They fall into the Bank and here they steal the horcrux. They escape on the back of a big green dragon. They don’t know how to destroy it because they lost the sword.

Now they decide to go to Hogwarts because Harry thinks that there is an other horcrux. So they go and they meet Dumbledore’s Brother (for the first time) and lots of other friends of Hogwarts. The professors are helping Harry and the headmaster, Snape (a Death Eater) escapes. Everybody whose seventeen years ore older, gets to be a part of Hogwarts Army Against Voldemort and his Death Eaters. Ron and Hermione destroy the cup (the horcrux they had stolen at the bank, Gringotts) with a tooth of the basilisk. Harry finds an other horcrux in a Secret Room and it gets destroyed by Fiendsfyre.


Harry finds out that Snape wanted to protect him against Voldemort. He also finds out that he, himself is one of the horcruxs. That means that he has to be murdered by Voldemort.

Very afraid but also strong he is walking to Voldemort and his Death Eaters. Harry is under the invisibility cloak. With help of the Resurrection Stone he calls the ones he loved and died: His Parents, Sirius Black and Remus Lupin. They help him by protecting him and showing their Love to him. In the Forrest Harry drops the stone, he is alone again. He steps into the light of fire; Voldemort Sees him. Voldemort murders him.

Harry meets Dumbledore, who explains everything to him. Harry goes back to his body. Thanks to a Death Eater who is worried for her son, everybody thinks Harry is dead. They bring him to the castle and show him to everybody. Hogwarts becomes crazy of sadness. But a friend of Harry, grabs the Sword of Gryffindor and murders the Big Snake Nagini, the last horcrux.
Big Giants are the reason that everybody has to escape to the Castle of Hogwarts. In this big mess, where everything is happening at the same time, Harry gets the chance to put on his invisibility cloak. Harry interrupts a fight between Ron’s mother and Voldemort. He throws his cloak of and stands before Voldemort. Everybody is shocked but happy. Harry is telling Voldemort everything he knew, but what Voldemort didn’t. At the end Harry kills Voldemort.

Nineteen Years Later: Happy Harry Potter is with three children and his wife. He is still best friends with Ron and Hermione, who are married together and have two children of their own.

The bed because he could have it, he was a real Gryffindor one. There was never a doubt if he was from Slytherin nor would he ever would have a scar on his forehead. The Owl, Hedwig, is not right though, for Hagrid bought her for Harry. If Lily and James would have stayed alive, they would have bought an owl for him, but probable not Hedwig.

Do you think, that if your parents never died, you would have Ron and Hermione as friends?
I think not. Ron came in the beginning only to me because I was HARRY POTTER. Famous and stuff. So did Hermione. Also, if it wasn’t for me, they never became friends.

Do you still hate Draco Malfoy?
It is the truth that we never were friends, and for a long time I deeply hated him. But the time I was seventeen, the Big War against Voldemort, he showed his quality’s. I Forgave and Forgot.
But he is still not my friend.

What are the names of your children?
My children, whom I love so much, Are named after people I loved:
My First son: James Potter, after my father.
My Second son: Albus Severus Potter, after the two Bravest Headmasters of Hogwarts.
My First Daughter and third Child: Lily Potter. After my mother.

How long are you married to Ginny Weasley now?
We are fourteen years happy together.

Does it bother you that Hermione and Ron, your two best friends, are married?
Of course it does not bother me! Just like Ron doesn’t bother that I am married to his little sister. As long as their happy. As long as we are happy.

Do You think that Voldemort will Return, someday?

What an awful thought! I can guarantee that Voldemort never will return again, just like all the others who died. What I can’t guarantee, is that we never will have big, dangerous murderers in our world again. It cant look into the future. But I can say that there is always something bad. Without Badness, There is no Goodness. We all have both sides in us. It is choice we make, that decides who we are, and what we are.

Is there something you regret in your life, so far?
No, absolutely not. I am so amazingly happy right now. But if I would have done something different, no matter what, my life wouldn’t have been the same. Life is like a necklace, take one piece out, and you will destroy the whole necklace.

Room of Requirement (this room is bounded to Hog’s Head, through a painting) in Hogwarts. From internet some information: The Room of Requirement is a magical room which can only be discovered by someone who is in need. It is called the Come and Go Room by the house-elves of Hogwarts. The Room is located on the seventh floor, opposite a tapestry showing Barnabas the Barmy trying to teach trolls to dance the ballet. To make the Room appear, a person has to walk past the section of blank wall three times concentrating hard on what is needed.

Hermione and Ron go to the Chamber of Secrets to get a tooth of the basilisk, to destroy one horcrux: The Cup of Hufflepuff.
The Shrieking Shack, where Harry, Hermione and Ron see that Voldemort kills Severus Snape with his big snake. When Voldemort is gone, Harry takes his memory’s and he puts it in a bottle. With this bottle he goes to:
Dumbledore’s Office. Here is a special machine where he can watch the memory’s.
He discovers that Snape was a good one, a spy of Dumbledore against Voldemort and he was in love with Harry’s mother Lily. Here he also discovers he himself is a horcrux and that he has to be killed by Voldemort.

The forbidden forest, where Harry goes to, to let Voldemort kill him.
Hogwarts: Harry’s school and home. Here he kills Voldemort and there is a great war between the Death Eaters and Voldemort – and – The Order of the Phoenix, Dumbledore’s Army and the good ones of Hogwarts.

I am the author and this is why I have chosen this title
I have chosen this title because it was the only right one. It is Al About Harry Potter. So that is because it is the head title of the whole serial.
The name of the Final Book is The Deathly Hallows because it is an important and new subject in the book. Actually you should really read the book, then you will get why I chose this title.

Why this age category?
It is a this magic, the impossible things. The dreams, the feelings… the love, the wars, the age they are their selves… it is for us: eleven until approximately eighteen years old.


My opinion
I chose this book because I have read all the Harry Potters, and I know them all by heart. I have read each book at the least 4 times, Dutch and English. I like it so much. This is also why I chose it. I could make it right away without having to read the book first. But I did anyway.
