The Cliënt Mark is eleven years old, he lives with his mother and younger brother in a trailer. His parents are divorced. Mark and his brother are going to the woods, they want to smoke a cigarette. They are in the bushes and they see a car. In the car there is a man who wants to commit suicide. He has put a hose from the exhaust into the cabin of the car. He starts the engine. Mark takes the hose off, but the man sees him and puts Mark with him into the car. The man tells mark that his name is Jerome and he is a lawyer. His client has killed the senator (boyd boyette) and Jerome tells where the body is. Mark escapes and Jerome puts a gun against his head and kills himself. In the meantime Ricky was still in the bushes and he saw everything. Mark and Ricky run at home. Ricky is in shock and Mark calls the police. Their mother and police are there, but Mark does not tell the truth. He says he has only seen the man dead. Ricky is still in shock and goes to the hospital but Ricky don't react. The next day the whole newspaper is about Mark, Jerome and Boyd Boyette. The FBI wants to talk with Mark because they know that Mark was in the car. The FBI wants to know what Jerome has told him. Mark doesn't dare to tell it because the mafia is chasing him. Mark is searching for a lawyer and he finds Reggie. She's very cheap, only 1 dollar. because of her Mark doesn't tell the police and FBI very much. The murderer of Boyd Boyette takes a new lawyer because the case continues. Mark is threatened by the murderer of Boyd Boyette (Barry). They have burned his house and say that they will also kill his mother and brother if he tells something. The FBI have waited, but now Mark has to go with them to the Juvenile Detention Centre. When he tells the truth, he can get out of there. After a few days Mark tells together with Reggie the true story except about the body. Together with Reggie Mark goes to the place where the body is hidden. They are not alone. They chase the other persons away. In exchange for the place of the body are Mark and his family get a new home. Dianne gets a new job and Ricky a good hospital.
