Een Beetje Meer Over Andy Warhol

Today I’m going to tell you some more about Andy Warhol.

His real name is Andy Warchola. He was born on August, sixth 1928 in Pittsburgh in the United States. He died in his sleep of a cardiac arrest on February , twenty-second 1987 in New York City at the age of 58.

He was an American artist, film director, author, music producer and actor. So he didn’t have much free time. He was a very busy man.

He produced a total of six films, including, Empire , Eat , Kiss and three other films.

Sometimes people called him the ‘silver prince of the pop’ , because he was one of most famous music producers in the pop art in the 50’s and 60’s . He wrote and produced for example for The Rolling Stones and John Lennon.

All the people that knew him believed he was gay and he always told that he was a virgin. So, every one believed that he died as a virgin , gay man.

He also wrote many quotes. The most of them were about art. And all the other quotes were about death and bussines. Two of them were : “I never think people die, they just go to department stores.” And another one was: “In the future , everyone will be famous for fifteen minutes.”
