The last Sherlock Holmes story tells about a case of detective Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson. When Dr. Watson died in 1926, he left a box that must not be opened for fifty years. When they opened the box in 1976, it contained a packet of papers with a terrible story…

When Sherlock Holmes became a detective, he enjoyed every case, but soon he was bored. Every time he was bored he used cocaine for a little bit fun in his cases…

And then in 1888, Jack the ripper killed several women; he called ‘the ripper’ because he cut the women in pieces with a knife. The police had no choice so they asked the detective and Dr. Watson to search him. For Sherlock Holmes was this case his best case everbecause it was a challenge for him, it was something he had to think for.

After a few attempts to tackle the killer, Sherlock Holmes saw Jack and told Dr. Watson to search for help and he (Sherlock Holmes) followed him.

But for some reason, Dr. Watson followed the detective because he thought his best friend was in danger and that he could be the next victim.

Dr. Watson saw him talking with a woman and entering a house with her. Dr. Watson looked from the window in to the house but he was so tired, he fell asleep for 2 hours and when he woke up, he saw a dead woman and Sherlock Holmes with a knife in his hand. He couldn’t believe that his best friend was jack the ripper!

Back in London Holmes leaves England to go on a mission in Russia. Watson does not know what to think of the things he saw that night. When Holmes is back he said to Watson that Jack is dead. But when Watson asks how Holmes killed him he was silence.

He and Holmes become friends again and Holmes said that Jack is not dead so they make a trip through Europe to escape from Jack because he wanted to kill Holmes. Then Watson takes Holmes to a mountain for a walk and talk about Jack that actually was Holmes. There Dr. Watson wants to kill Holmes but he shoots with blank bullets. When Holmes realizes what he has done, he kills himself by jumping from the mountain.

It seemed that Holmes had psychological problems and so he thought he was against Jack but also he fought against himself.

Dr. Watson kept this as a secret because he wanted his dear friend was seen as a hero and a good person, not a killer.
