Brave heart is the true story of William Wallace. This story is one of love for a beautiful and strong Scottish girl.

There are rich nobles in Scotland who decide who’s gonna serve Scotland.

The King of England wants to serve Scotland. That’s what the war is about.

They hold a truce. The King of England asksall Scottish nobles to come to the farm to think of a solution. But it’s a trick, he kills them all. So he can decide who’s gonna serve England.

William Wallace was only seven years old when he sees all the death bodies at the farm. His own father, tied by neck. At a meeting William sees Murron, she gives him a flower. William is all alone. His uncle takes care of him and learns him how to fight.

The King of England decides to bring back the old rule of ’First Night’. A girl who lives on a noble’s land must spend her wedding night with the noble of the land, not with her husband. The King of England wants every Scottisch girl to get pregnant from a English nobleman. Robert the Bruce and another Scottish family: The Balliols would also like to rule. There was war between the two families. They are brave men, but people could not trust them.

Then William came back to town, he sees Murron again. That night he goes to Murron’s house and ask her if she would like to go with him for a horseride. He gives her the dried flower that she gave him years ago. William wants to marry Murron, but he doesn’t want her to spend her wedding night with one of the nobles. So they marry in secret. She gives him a white handkerchief with the flower of Scotland on it.

William does not see Murron for two weeks. Then there is a wedding in the village. Helen MacClanough(Murron’s cousin) marries a local boy named Robbie. Suddenly English soldiers and a nobleman, Lord Bottoms, arrive. Helen has to spend her wedding night with that nobleman, not with Robbie.

On one day when Murron buys some bread, she is attacked by English soldiers who want to rape her. Then suddenly William arrives and attacks the soldiers. He shouts to Murron that she needs to go away and meet him at their group of trees. When William is done with the soldiers he goes to their Group of trees. When Murron isn’t there, he knows that there is something wrong. Old campbell tells William that Murron was killed by Hesselrich, he took out his knife and cut her troath. William goes to search Hesselrich. When he finds him, he kills him the same way as he killed Murron. William knows know that he would fight as a rebel from the day until he dies.

They start a fight again. Scotland wants to be free!

They fight as animals and the English begin to realize that they cannot win this.

After winning the battle, William becomes famous all over Scottland. He becomes the first Lord of Scotland.

The King of England secretly knows that his son is gay with Peter. He’s angry and takes Peter by the throat and throws him out the window. There is a truce again, but the English men don’t want a truce and they start a fight. At the battle there are too many English soldiers and the Scottish soldiers run away. William murders Lord Mornay in that same battle.

Princess Isabella has made a plan, she says to the King of England: ‘’William Wallace trusts me, so send thirty of your best fighters and I will find a place to meet’’. It is a trick and she warns William.

At a day The King of England was verry ill and he died. That same day William Wallace died slowly in front of a great crowd. They do terrible things to his body. They want him to ask for forgiveness. But William doesn’t ask for forgiveness. If he would do that, then all the things he did before would be nothing worth anymore.

In the last seconds that he lives he sees Murron for a few seconds, she smiles at him.

William screams: ‘’WE WILL BE FREE’’.
