(not) as...as, too and enough

• As … as: hiermee geef je aan dat iets gelijk is.

             Sally is as good as Tim.

             I am as tall as my mother.

• Not as … as: geef je aan dat iets niet gelijk is.

       I am not as rich as Bill Gates.

       John is not as tall as Michael Jordan.

• Je zet het bijvoegelijk naamwoord (adjective) tussen as … as.

       Tooà too late, too young, too short, too much.

• Too zet je voor het bijvoegelijke naamwoord.
• Enough: genoeg.

       Old enough, small enough

• Enough zet je achter het bijvoegelijk naamwoord.
• Not enough: niet genoeg.

       Not old enough, not small enough

• Je zet het bijvoegelijk naamwoord tussen   not … enough
