Ferrari

I give a talk about Ferrari. Ferraries is the name of a Italian car factory. They make sportcars. And they are very expensive! Ferrari is an Italian car brand. They build a lot of fast cars for the rich people. Enzo Ferrari is the name of the person who has the brand set up. He was born in 1898 in the city Modena in North of Italy. All members of the family loved cars. When he grew up he had a job in a factory of car frames as testdriver. Later he had a job in a bodyworkfactory C.M.N., there he had success as a racing car driver. In 1919, he drove his first race. He became fourth. A year later he became second in an Alfa Romeo. That was the beginning of a relationship of twenty years with Alfa Romeo. He was a very successful driver and he won with Alfa Romeo a lot of prices. In 1919 he made his own competition: the Scuderia Ferrari. At the birth of his son he
stopped the Scuderia Ferrari races. In 1939 he started his own business. In 1939 he begins his own garage, in Maranello in Italie. His first car was a great success. His son, Dino Ferrari died in 1956. Enzo honoured him by giving a car the name of Dino. The Dino 206 GT. That was a large setback to Enzo Ferrari. A couple of years later died Enzo Ferrari in Modena (the place we’re he was born) After the introduction of the famous Ferrari F40. He became 90 years old. Until his death Ferrari wins 5000 races and 25 world tittles. Everyone that saw the trademark called it the rear up horse. In Italian they say “Il Cavillino Rampante”. In 1923 he had learned a new friend. His friend was called Enrico Barecca and he was a count. His husband was called Paoline. The son of Enrico and Paoline had called Francesco Baracca, he was a pilot in the second World War. Enrico had a black horse on his combat. Poaline asked on Enzo Ferrari why he didn’t have a horse on his cars. That will bring luck! The next race he drove in a Alfa Romeo. That car was the first car with a black horse. The horse was black and the background was yellow, yellow was the colour of his birthplace, Modena. At the end of the race he finished first! He had won the race! Frome that moment on every car had that black horse with a yellow background. Now is Ferrari one of the most famous car brand ever. But you almost never see them. (And Ferrari makes no advertising) Everybody knows Ferrari by the successes in the Formula 1 of Micheal Schuhmacher and

Rubens Barrichello. They have also their own competition with only DTM Ferrari's. The Ferraries for normal driving are very speedy and very expensive too! Only millionaires can pay them. Enzo Ferrari had made a fantastic brand new trademark. The Ferrari-family called another car to him just as he did to his son. The Enzo Ferrari. The ferraries are until today very great and popular.
