Greenpeace

I do my talk about Greenpeace. Greenpeace is a worldwide organization. They fight for a clean and health world, with peace. That is what the word Greenpeace means. In 1971 a few people from Canada and the USA worried about a atom test on a island from Alaska. They lease a fishing boat and went to the island for the protest . They came never on the island but the trip was everywhere in the world on TV. This first action was a mission without violence. Greenpeace is started, they agree never violence to use. With the actions try they as near as possible. With a ship is everything possible on the water. For Greenpeace are ships important for the actions on the water for example seals on the North pool, by the island Moruroa in the pacific ocean. One of the famous ships from Greenpeace is the Rainbow Warrior. The name of the ship reminds of the first trip of this ship. Here you
see the ship. There are two Rainbow Warriors, the first one has

blown up by the French Government. Because they were against the
actions from Greenpeace. This ship are from Greenpeace to: the
Sirius, the Esperanza, the Arctic Sunrise, the Beluga, the Argus and
of course you see them by the most missions: Rubber boats. Since 1996 Greenpeace have a new project, Greenteams. Greenteams are teams young people those come in action for the nature and Greenpeace give them help. Nature problems are everywhere around the world. Therefore are in many countries Greenpeace offices. At this moment there are 32 offices around the world here you see a few: - Australia - Belgium - Germany - Finland - France - Netherlands
