I’m going the tell you something about queen Elizabeth I

She was born in 1990 on august the fourth in Stratford.
And she was the ninth child in a family with ten children.

Because Elizabeth’s parents were very wealthy it was normal that she would be married to a boy from another wealthy family.

There were a lot of families who hoped that Elizabeth should marry their son but Elizabeth was not interested in any of them.

She wanted to do more with her life and so she got in contact with the royal family.

Everybody thought she was going to marry crown prince Edward, he was the son of King George V en Queen Mary.
But she wanted to marry Edward’s little brother Bertie (his real name was Albert)

She got married whit him in nineteen-twenty-three.
This marriage was really special because she was the first girl who had no royal blood and had a marriage whit someone who did had royal blood.

In nineteen-twenty-six there first child, Elizabeth II was born through IVF (In Vitro Fertilization), because they had trouble whit making children. After four years their second child was born Margaret.

When king George law in died, nobody knows who should take over the throne. Edward was planning to marry Wallis Warfield Simpson.
But no one wanted her as their queen so Edward gave up the throne to Bertie.

In nineteen-eighteen-six Bertie was crowned as King George VI and he was king of England until 1952. Bertie became very popular but Elizabeth was much more popular than her husband. The whole country loved her and they called her the mother of the nation.

When Hitler was fighting the second world war he even calls her the most dangerous woman in Europe. He thought that she would leave the country, but she refused to leave and she became even more popular.

When Bertie was died of long cancer. Was Elizabeth no longer the leading queen and her oldest daughter Elizabeth was the successor of the throne.
Queen Elizabeth didn’t like this and so she named herself ‘Her majesty Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother’.

Her daughter was crowned in nineteen-fifteen-three and a lot of people shouted: “May the Queen live forever!”.
but a few years later the Queen mum died in 2002, she became 101 years old.
