Tutankhamen
Pharaoh Tutankhamen was a pharaoh at the eighteen dynastie. When he was eight years old, he became pharaoh. He was the son of pharaoh Amenhotep IV (Achnaton) and his wife the queen Nefertiti. When he became a pharaoh at 1333 B.C, he accepted another name Nebcheperoere. He left the new capital city, recapitalized the ancient gods and began a struggle for materialistic prosperity that he won. He ruled over ten years. Tutankhamen was a member of the Thebaanse kings and queens they ruled over more than five-hundred years that is from the eighteenth and twentieth dynasty. When he became the pharaoh, he changed the capital city of ancient Egypt. First, it was Thebe then changed by Amenhotep IV to Tell El-Amarna also called Achetaton. Then when Tutankhamen was pharaoh, he switched Tell el-Amar-na to Memphis. Then finally, there was peace around the capital city so they when it was changed again it was in the twenty-second dynasty. Pharaoh Tutankhamen died on a natural way or murdered when he was between eighteen and twenty. I do not know because there is research on it so they do not know it for sure. His pyramid has four chambers:’the first chamber was you come in the pyramid is the front room. In that room were gifts like beds, chairs and sculptures. The second room was a lean-to. In that room was a lot of stuff that were almost just like in the front room but only less neatly. The third chamber is the burial chamber. In that chamber lay Pharaoh Tutankhamen. In addition, there were hieroglyphs that mean something of the ‘ritual of the open mouth’. The grave had four chests. The chests took almost the whole chamber for itself. In the first chest was the second and the second contains the third and the third contains the fourth chest. In that fourth chest was the sarcophagus of Tutankhamen. The sarcophagus contains the body of Tutankhamen. First, there were another three chests before you can see the mummy. The first chest was 224 cm long and made of firewood with a layer of gold-laminate. There was a drawing of the pharaoh with the famous crossed arms with in the hands a heka sceptre and a nechacha vlegel, the traditional attributes of the god Osiris. The second chest was even more beautiful decorated with gold laminate a linen rag flowers and precious stones. It was 204 cm long. The third chest was made of pure gold is 187, 5 cm long and weigh 110, 4 kilo. And lost but not least finally the mummy of Tutankhamen. The mummy was decorated with about 150 amulets and jewels and worn the famous mask with precious stones and coloured glass. The last chamber was the treasure room. It was filled with beautiful treasures like gold precious jewels and stones. In addition, like the burial chamber there was a box with chests. This time there were two chests. The first one was the outside chest. It contains a second chest within calcite and four albast urns. In that urns were little models of the sarcophagus and mummified intestines of the pharaoh.
