Lord of the Flies (1990)

The story is about a group of boys. They are together with 2 leaders in a plane, which came down in sea, nearby an uninhabited island. When they came at that island, they search a place to sleep. In the morning they find clean water, and they can wash themselves. At the beach they find a shell, and they use them to whistle. They use them also as sign. Of course they are hungry and they are going to search food. They meet a wild pig, but they can’t catch him. The 2 leaders are hurt and a boy who is called Ralph is the new leader. He tells them to make a shack. They don’t like Piggy, a fat boy. The boys are trying to make a fire; they think it’s a good idea to use Piggy’s glasses. And faster than they think, there is a fire, but also the tree starts to fire. They work hard to stop the fire and they are succeeded. At the evening Jack tells the boys en scary story. One of the leaders feels better, but he doesn’t do so much. To spend the time, they eat bananas and go to swim. A group of the boys wants to go fishing, but the other boys disturb it, to throw stones in the water. The boys are trying to make weapons, to kill the pig to eat it. The group of boys is splitting in 2 groups; the serious group and the fun group. The s group (s=serious) has a leader; Ralph. And the f group (f=fun) leader is Jack. The s group has seen een helicopter, but they are to late end it leaves without to discover them. The f group founds the pig and kills him to eat. That night there is a storm, piggy lose everybody. Slowly he finds the other boys. Because the trees fell down, they can eat the bananas. They also find a dead pig. The f group has painted sign of blood on there cheek. A boy finds a cave, where he sees a monster (the leader) He went back with his group to have a look. In the wood, the groups meet each other. The f group steels the knife; and destroyed the camp of the s group. They also broke the glasses of Piggy. A boy of the s group interrogates a boy of the other group. The s group is baking bananas, when the f group comes. The twins also paint signs of blood on there cheek. Because Simon is kilt Ralph is very sad. Only Ralph and Piggy are now in the s group. The f group attacks the s group. They take the glasses away to make fire. Ralph and Piggy follow them, to get the glasses back. The f group throws a big stone down the rock, which kills Piggy. Now Ralph is alone. The wood is in fire, en Ralph search a way to come out. The Twins see him, but they don’t tell it to Jack. The others discover Ralph and Jack follows him. Ralph meets the leader; his is very disappointed. But suddenly they see a helicopter, and make a fire very fast. The helicopter sees it and stops. At the end everybody is rescued.
