When the Erekwi hear that the Aliakoro want to capture The Pond of Wagaba. This pond belongs to the Erekwi. So Olumba went to the Pond to defend it. The fight to the men of Aliakoro. 2 men escaped. But the other 2 prisoners went to the Chiolu (Village of the Erekwi). Next morning the Aliakoro came to Chiolu to get back there 2 men. But they also become prisoners. So the chief of the Aliakoro must come to the Erekwi. When he arrived they talked about the Pond of Wagaba. Some days later there was a combat between the Aliakoro and the Erekwi. But the Aliakoro got help of an another village (Isiali). The Aliakoro and the Isaili went to Chiolu to kidnap
Oda (the youngest wife of Olumba), Chisa and two other women. 3 days later the Erekwi went to the Aliakoro. They want there women back. But they were transported to Isaili. The Chief of Aliakoro (Aze Okehi) get’s worried. He think he became trouble in the future. So he went to a friend. His friend told him 2 things to do: 1. He must make a sacrifice to please the god of the earth . 2. He must bring back the 4 women to Chiolu. So he send Wago to get back the women. But there are 2 women there. The other 2 are away. Some days later Aliakoro ant Erekwi went to a meeting place to exchange the man and the 2 women. The Chiefs talk about what to do. They decide that one man must swear that the Pond belongs to him. So Olumba did. But Olumba went sick. The men bring him to a dibia (medicine man) in a other village. He helped Olumba. But it didn’t work so well. The sickness spread over the Erekwi. Many people died. And a lot of people were very ill. On a night one of the warriors came back. He saw 2 women. Oda and Chisa, they were back. They were escaped. Some days later Olumba suffered by. He stood up and a few seconds later a leopard jumped out of the bushes and tried to kill him. But an other warrior attacked the leopard. So the leopard left Olumba. The next day Wago attacked Olumba. The next day Wago was found in the water of Pond Wagaba. Dead.
