There isn’t really a subplot because Holden survises all kind of things. The mainplot is Holden decides not to leave his family in New York.
3] It’s is about a boy Holden. He got kicked from a several schools, because he is to lousy. Now he decide to leave his school in Pencey, because school bores him. The vacation starts at wensday. But he decide to leave the school earlier and go to New York to his parents. So he leaves, only he is affraid to come home a few days to early. He decide to take a hotel and see some friends.
The night of Tuesday he decides to say his his sister Phoeboe hello. He tells hear he wants to quit school and go for some work at a farmhouse. Phoeboe starts to cry and ask him to stay. Holden cares a lot about his sister and he decide to stay.
4] Holden is 16 years old. He always can tell you some negative points about a person and nobody is perfect in his view. He is a big lier and that explains he has always an opinion and stories to tell. He loves his brother D.b. who lives in holywood and he loves his sister Phoeboe.

Phoeboe, is Holden sister, loves him she is young about 10 years old. Phoeboe is very smart for her age and she sees how Holden blows his life.

Ward Stratlater, is a roommate of Holden. Ward likes the ladies and the ladies likes him too. Holden is jealous to Ward because he is handsome and he isn’t. Ward is much more stronger than Holden. At some time they have a fight, because Ward hates when Holden calls him moron.

5] It’s a little bit a dairy, only without dates and years in top of the pages, because Holden tells what he goes through in the book.

7] I liked the book, I read it easy and in two days. The language is easy and the boy Holden compares a little bit with me, my formal youth. But now I changed and i think Holden also did after the book ended. It was like I read my own biography. I also like the slang it is tild in, that makes it a little bit formel.
