The background: Period is not important. The story: The story is about animals and friendships. The persons: Hummingbird, she is sixteen years old and she finds out where the animals are. Summary Hummingbird lives on the planet called just like home. On this planet are no animals. There were many animals on a planet called Earth, but that was before the burning. Tonight was Remembering Night. Then we remember the burning and that we have a Galaxy. There's a big fire where everybody must put on something that they love. Nobody knows who you are on Remembering Night because you wear black clothes that cover you from head to foot. It was dark outside. The only light came from the big fire. The last dance went on for a long time. Somebody asked Hummingbird to marry. A woman must marry any man who asks her on Remembering Night. Hummingbird didn't want that and she run away with the spaceship. She found a big spaceship. In the spaceship where animals. The leader of the animals was a robot. When she went home and told what she found, nobody believes here. The man who asked her to marry wanted to see it. When he says the animals he wanted to kill them. The robot sad that they will always try to kill them, only children can live with animals. When she told that to the Galaxy, the Galaxy sad she could help them. She could bring animals only to the children. Than there will be animals in the Galaxy. The title: I think it’s a very good title because the whole book is about animals and the title says that the book is about animals.
My opinion: It was a good book. I read it with pleasure. Extra exercise: Dear Hummingbird, What a lovely name do you have! I like it very much! It was very good you run away when someone asked you to marry. Because when you said “yes” you had never find the animals. So that’s very good! I hope that someday your prince will come!
