The bombs were falling, the smoke was rising from the concentration camps, but Hitler's daughter knew nothing of this. All she knew was the world of lessons with Fräulein Gelber and the exciting visits from her beloved father whom she calls Duffi. Until the day she is taken to her father's bunker in Berlin.

It starts like this: somebody make up a story and each day they go further with the story till the bus comes. This time it goes about Hitler’s daughter, her name is Heidi. She looks a bit different. She lives together with Fraülein Gelber in a big house. Heidi calls Hitler ‘Duffi’. Anna begins to tell the story. But she want’s to stop, because everybody makes up silly thing about the story. Mark feels something wrong about Anna’s story. It looks like Heidi is real. Anna, Mark and Tracy agreed to come earlier to the bus shelter the next day, so Anna can tell the story further. The next day they all standing earlier by the bus shelter. Anna starts to continue the story. Heidi wasn’t allowed to go to school, nobody had to know she was the daughter of Hitler. That’s why she gets private less from Fraülein Gelber. Fraülein Gelber also takes care of Heidi. Duffi always give her handsome dolls. She always cried about it, because she was ugly. She put her dolls by her other dolls and continue her lessons. Fraülein Gelber was crying, because her brother was send to the Russian front. The charwoman was also crying because her sister was found dead! Heidi wonders what Jews are. Fraülein Gelber says that they are strange people. The story was like real life, says Mark. There was also something real in Anna’s story: Hitler and the Jews! Mark ask his father what he would do if he was a mass murderer. His father answers: “I would turn you in by the police, but we will always love each other, in a different way. Anne continues her story. A few days later they have to leave the building. Because they would be saver somewhere else. They left with a few soldiers in a car. Suddenly they hear a plain. The car drives to a tree quickly. But the plane flew over. At least they were by the house. The new charwoman was Frau Leib. They lived on a farm, where her husband works with his 2 grandsons and his 2 sister-in-law. One son was always fighting and the other son was prisoner in America. Frau Leib never asks questions, what so ever she knew she had to do with an important family. Frau Leib had 5 children and 4 grandchildren, but all man had to fight, that’s why they need help on the farm. Sometimes Frau Leib takes underhand sugar with her. Heidi know that, but she never be treaded her. One day gave Frau Leib a rabbit to Heidi, because she never be treaded her. Fraülein Gelber gives nothing about the lessons for Heidi. Often she cries about the letters. Mark is in the bus. He starts to talk to Bonzo and makes an appointment to go cycling the next day. Suddenly ask Mark to Bonzo what he would do if someone starts an army just like Hitler’s army. Bonzo finds that a great idea. The radio in Mark’s house was turn on the next day. Then suddenly Mark hears something on the radio: Racial murder. The racial murder still continues and the eyewitness says there could be more then a thousand dead people. It looks like it was the time of Hitler, thought Mark. Mark asks his father how grandpa gets the farm. He was afraid it maybe was stolen from the original people. His that became cross. Mark starts again about Hitler at breakfast. Know he wonders if all people in Germany agree with Hitler. His mother told him if they regress they would send them to a concentration camp. Anna continues the story. It looks like there was never be a break in the story. Mark thinks that he know how the story continues. He thinks that Heidi has an escape plan for the Jews in a camp or she spy on her dad. Heidi didn’t know what Jews are. She made a picture in her head: they were just normal people with red spots on the face and one leg shorter then the other leg. Heidi had a plan. She makes a place where Jews can hide. She told Fraülein Gelber that she cleans the chicken-house. The second part of the plan was collect food. Each day she gets something from the basement. After a month she was ready. “When come the Jews then?” asks Tracy. Anna says they never come. It was already too late. Almost all the Jews were in the concentration camps and some of the Jews were escape to another land. Mark didn’t like this part of the story. He thinks that Heidi had to do something. Lock up herself and didn’t eat anything till the concentration camps were closed or something. Anna didn’t like that at all. Anna can’t tell the story further, because the bus is here already. The next day they all standing at the bus shelter again and Mark listens to Anna again over the story. Mark wonders how the story will end. Anna continues with her story. Above the house of Heidi flew with the day more planes. Suddenly she heard a motor. Fraülein Gelber goes to the door and opens it before they could knock. We’re going to see Hitler, she whispers. It was a year ago that she had seen her father. Duffi asks Heidi if she was a good girl and if Fraülein Gelber was nice to her. He left soon already, he was very busy. In the middle of the night came Fraülein Gelber to wake Heidi. They are going to make a trip. There was a car to pick them up. They were going to Berlin. Heidi wonders what Frau Leib was going to do. Heidi and Fraülein Gelber went to a bunker. You could feel the trilling of the bunker, because they were throwing with bombs. It goes endless further. A soldier brought the breakfast for Heidi and Fraülein Gelber. It wasn’t very much. Suddenly she felt in sleep and when she woke up Fraülein Gelber was gone. It didn’t surprise her. It looks like she were count on it. In a room she saw 3 men. One was her father. Suddenly she calls: “father”. It was the first time she called him like that. Hitler says she must go out of the room. She went outside. It smelled very bad outside. The soldier tries to be nice to Heidi. But suddenly he fell on the ground. She swum over the ditch. Duffi’s daughter didn’t excised anymore. She began a new life. All around her were dead people and fire. She run and she run. But then a woman calls her to come to her. Next the woman stands a boy. The woman tells Heidi they were running for the Russians. The boy says he would take care of her and his mother. The Schmidts (they were the people who take care of Heidi) came by a camp of Americans. There they told that Heidi was their daughter and called here Helga Schmidt. Suddenly they were in Australia. Mister Schmidt found his family back in the camp. And he accepts Heidi. Heidi began her new life in Australia where nobody knew she was a daughter of Hitler. She became a children’s doctor. She married with another doctor. Anna says that Heidi never told to someone that she was the daughter of Hitler, because then everybody would hate her, just like Hitler. They went into the bus. And that was the end of the story!
