I'm an immigrant from Russia, where ecology is not thought of as an important cause, I'm having allergic autoimmune diseases due to poor air quality in Moscow, my hometown.. Through my photography I speak of that feeling, feeling of being sick of the place where you were born and raised. I've felt lost and dissociated during winters in Russia for as long as I can remember, my skin was brittle, my bedsheets were stained, lips chapped and eyes sore, I both love and hate that feeling, and through my work I speak of it.
