Throughout the series, I used warm light to symbolise my positive outlook on the energy transition. I also had the intention of provoking a feeling of hope through the sparks. The aluminium film reflects sunlight symbolising making use of abundant resources. While the reaching hands grasp towards a brighter future. The fingers, triangle and power symbol show science and human corporation creating new energy. The glowing trunk presents the nature of the transition, like natures growth it is gradual and slowly manifesting around us. It also represents the strong roots we are building through responsibility and empathy for the planet.
