Bruno’s mother set to Bruno that they had to move, and the only reason she give is because of fathers job. But she wasn’t positive about the situation.
Brunos moeder zei tegen Bruno dat ze weg moesten, en dat het voor papa’s baan is. Maar ze was er niet positief over. Ze zei alleen dat het moest.

He doesn’t like the fury and thinks that he is the rudest guest ever.

Bruno often calls her sister a hopeless case because she only wants attention of other people. Gretel is only 3 years older then Bruno but she is pretending if she knows everything better and she debase Bruno. Also a reason why Bruno calls her sister a hopeless case is because her sister and her girlfriends sometimes tease Bruno.

The relation between Bruno and Maria was good. Bruno could talk a lot with her. Bruno also liked talking with Maria because she listen to him and Maria is able to translate some of the adult ideas that Bruno experiences into ideas that he can understand.
