* Charles Darnay is a nephew from Marquis D’Evrémonde, a nasty man who treats the citizen very bad. After his dead Charles has to follow him. He doesn’t treat the citizen bad. When the citizen get the power to control, al the bad people have to die. Also Charles because he’s followed his uncle. Sydney offers his life because he loves Lucie Manette and he doesn’t want she’s unhappy through Charles’ death.
The Summary

* Lucie Manette is the daughter of Dr. Manette. He has been in the bastille for 18 years. In the years he was imprisonment Lucie lived by the Defarges. After Dr. Manette liberation she marries Charles Darnay and she’s going to live in England. Sydney Carton does also love her. He says: “Think now and then, that there is a man who would give his life to save somebody you loved.” In France the citizen are very inconfident. Marquis D’Evrémonde is a very bad man. The citizen kill him. Charles is Marquis’ nephew. After his death he is the new D’Evrémonde. He isn’t bad. When the citizen storm the bastille they are the new leaders in France. Al the people who have done bad things are punished. After a while Charles is also going to be punished. Just because he’s Marquis’ nephew. He gets the capital punishment. Sydney knows it, and he looks a lot at Charles. The night before Charles is punished Sydney saves him through changes himself with Charles. Now Sydney is punished. Now does Lucie understand his words.
