There are several kinds of drugs. For instance: stimulating drugs, narcotic drugs, and drugs with a mixed effect.
* Stimulating drugs
When using this type of drug the user gets the feeling he has more energy and is more alert. This sort of drug is especially being used by party animals and workaholics. Examples of this type of drugs are: speed, cocaine, but also coffee and tobacco.
* Narcotic drugs

This type of drugs has a relaxing and calming effect. The user becomes sleepy and he doesn’t see the bad things of life. Drugs with a narcotic effect are particularly being used by people with sleeping problems and people who have fears, but also by individuals with personal and social problems. Specimens for this type of drugs are: heroin, sleeping medicines and alcohol.
* Awareness changing drugs
The effect of these drugs is that the user has a feeling of living in a different world. He sees wonderful colors. Also it can happen the user becomes a glutton or get very active or tired as well as unable to control laughing. This type of drug is for the most part used by younger people who are curious to the effect of the drug. Older people who are looking for a new mental experience are also a big part of users from this drug. Examples from awareness changing drugs are: LSD, weed and hashish.
* Drugs with a mixed effect
An example of this drug is XTC. This drug stimulating, but it also changes the awareness. Depending on the situation and dosage can hashish and weed also have a narcotic effect.

The opium law includes all the rules about drugs. There are two kinds of drugs: soft drugs and hard drugs. In the opium law, the rules about hard drugs are named in list one. The rules about soft drugs are named in list two. Hard drugs, like heroine, cocaine, LSD and XTC can have an unacceptably large effect. List two names all sorts of hemp products, like hashish and weed as well as sedatives like Valium and Seresta. The punishments for using hard drugs are stricter than the punishment for using soft drugs.

There is no drug that leads to addiction when someone uses it only one time. So no one can be addicted when someone puts a drug in his drink. By the way no dealer shall try to attract customers in this way because drugs are too expensive and valuable to give it away for free and because it doesn’t work. After using drugs more often the user can get addicted to it, physically or mentally. When someone is physically addicted to drugs the body gets withdrawal symptoms when the user quits using. There also is talk of toleration when an individual is physically addicted. Toleration is when the users needs more and more drugs not to get withdrawal symptoms during normal usage. The user dependant on the drug. When one is mentally addicted to drugs he has the feeling he can’t function without using drugs. If a person gets mentally addicted to drugs depends on the person, not on the drug. Drugs have a different influence on getting physical addicted. Heroin is strongly addicting, cocaine is less addicting, and XTC, hashish and weed are least addicting.
