Dear Henk,
How are you doing? I’m fine, It was a great week! I hope you liked my visit too. I write you this letter because I want to ask you something. But first of all I want to thank you and your parents for the hospitality. I also want to thank you for supporting me with teaching me the beautiful English language. I improved my pronounciation and vocabulary thanks to you. It was the best week of my holidays.
When I flew back, I was a little bit ill. The plane wasn’t in a good state, the engine hitched a lot. I think there was something wrong with it. The plane swung so much, that I had to throw up. It was so embarrassing, all the people in the plane were staring at me. But after all I’m still alive and I got save home.
We have done cool activities. What did you like the most? I liked the pop concert extraordinarily, the band was so good. I hope The White Stripes will visit the Netherlands too, so I can see them! Shopping was fun as well, we bought some handsome clothes. The jeans from Replay were my best deal, all the people at school are saying that I’m good-looking. Your t-shirt you bought is lovely, did your friend say something about it too?
I have a tiresome problem, I lost my Discman and I think I left it at your house. It’s a Discman of Sony and I thought your sister had the same one. In the Discman is a disc of The White Stripes, the album Elephant. So maybe you can listen if the Discman is mine. In that case can you send me the Discman by post? Of course will I pay the forwarding-charges.
The most important reason for writing this letter is: I hope you would like to visit us in the summer holidays. Me and my parents invite you to come to our house. In that week we can visit Amsterdam, to smoke some weed. Or maybe we can go to the Dom tower in Utrecht. And also the beach in Scheveningen is worth it to go!
