BILLY ELLIOT

Billy Elliot is set in the North East of England. In 1980, a time of political unrest. Billy is eleven, his dad can just afford to still allow him money for boxing club. Billy is useless at boxing and only keeps it up to please his father.
He saw some people do ballet, and he liked it. He has talent when he has a lot of practice. He did audition for the Royal Ballet School in London. His family didn’t like it that he likes ballet. There’s a big blow-up between father and son when the teacher of Billy at the ballet school come to the house of Billy. She said that Billy must go to the ballet school. His father disliked it, and there was a big brawl.

Billy had a strong bond with his teacher, Miss was a very good teacher and learned Billy the good things of ballet. The best scene in the film is that Billy run away from his home.

The main theme of the film is that it doesn’t matter if you’re a boy and like ballet. You don’t have to like swimming, boxing or football. Ballet is not only for girls, also for boys.
This film is one of the best films about ballet, the film is nice for girls and boys, for every age. The music at the film is also very nice, and Billy can dance very
nice. When I can give this film a number, I give it a 8. It’s a very exciting film.
