Introduction
My piece of work is about London. I’m self never been there, but I would like to go to London for once. Then I would like to see so much as possible from London. I think it’s a beautiful city but also a expensive city!
The city
London is boasted for his historical buildings, museums, shops, theatre and the night living. The city attracts a lot of tourists from the hole world. The city remains young the come new attractions such as Tate Modern, the inner yard from the Births museum and the British Airways London Eye.

Chelsea have been confessed of football and shopping. In Chelsea do you found the Kings road the shopping street from London were you find the most expensive close.

Tower brige

The Tower Bridge is not so old. In 1994 was he 100 years old.
Under on the bridge you see a road for cars and above is a pedestrian path.
The keepers from the Tower Bridge they are called beefeaters. They wear this uniform still.
The Big Ben
On the night from 6 October 1834 the old palace from Westerminster devastate by fire. The were make a new design, this design contain a clock tower. The clock tower most be special for this reason have Barry (the designer) Benjamin Lewis Vulliamy asked. Benjamin Lewis Vulliamy was a famous bell maker. But this men don’t like the task. And that the reason the Barry asked 2 onder bell makers. Dent and Whitehurst. In 1852 got Dent a contract to building the clock. The name Big Ben is not clear. Probable is the name from the Sir Benjamin Hall, Commissioner of Works. He was by the building from the clock tower. As from then do not the clock that’s name but the complete tower.
On 5 august 1976 the clock starts fall from each other. The restoration was during almost a complete year. The clocks of the Big Ben to sound now yet.
Westermind abby
Next to The houses of Parliament on the Thames lies Westminster Abbey. In this church kings and Queens are crowned. The church was completed in 1269 but he is later rebuilt a lot. The church is built in a Gothic style.
This is the Coronation Chair. On this chair the British kings and queens crowned. Under this chair you see the stone from Scotland. This stone is given back to Scotland in 1996.
Trafalgar square
Trafalgar Square is a very famous Square.
Right on the rand you see they churce from St. Martinin the Fields. On the background you see the National Gallery and the Natoinal Portrait Gallery.
Piccadilly circus
A onder famous Square is it Piccadilly Circus. in the middle of this Square state a statue from Eros, the God from love the called also Cupido. On the gevels around its a lot of neon lift publicity.
St. Paul’s Catherdral
St. Paul’s is the biggest cathedral from Great-Britten. This church is built by Sir Christopher Wren after the great fire of London (1666)
St. Paul’s is built in Renaissance style.
In St. Paul’s cathedral lies Christopher Wren to bury. As a epitaph he has: "Reader, if you seek his monument, look around you".

Under the big dome you find The Whispering Gallery. When you whispering to the walls it is clearly understand on they other side.
From here you can look at the fresco’s from James Thornhill.
Under St.Paul’s there is a crypt whit tombs from important persons. In the middle stands the tomb from Admiral Lord Nelson.
