Postwar Iraq.

Iraq is a country in the middle-east of Asia. A country where the government made bombs and people lived in a sort of cage in the regime of Sadamm Houssein.
The war against Iraq started because the government of the United States of America believed Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. America should not have gone to war with Iraq if Iraq was fundamentally disarmed. Troops of the United states of america made pictures of places where Iraq made weapons of mass destruction and President Bush showed the pictures to the world. Everyone was convinced of the quilt of Saddam Houssein and he had to be attacked. But when Bush asked some countries to help with the attacks, only a few countries helped them: United Kingdom, Japan and Australia.
All the other countries only wanted to help to rebuild Iraq, after the bomb attacks and the war.
The united states of america also was claiming that Sadam Hussein has a link to the 11 september attacks on the World Trade Center in New York and also threats terrorist against the USA. And they say that Houssein had contacts with Osama Bin Laden. There's been no clear information linking these claims. Iraq should also had sent Weapons to other countries to let the terrorsm grow. War against Iraq would simply increase the fears of terrorism against the United states of America and the rest of the world of course.
The government of the United states of america didn’t thought about lost lifes and lots of other hazards in Iraq after bombing it. The country would be a hell for all the people in Iraq when there are attacks.
In the Iraq-war thousands of people died.
Because of that, the gap in perceptions between the United states of America and the rest of the world has never been wider. The United states of America is seen as abusing the dominant position it occupies; opinion at home has been led to believe that Saddam Houssein posed a clear and present danger to national security. President Bush personally never cease to remind us that September 11 changed the world. It is only as the untoward consequences of the invasion of Iraq become apparent that people are beginning to realise something has gone woefully wrong. We have fallen into a trap.
The US can lose its dominance only as a result of its own mistakes. At present the country is in the process of committing such mistakes because it is in the hands of a group of extremists whose strong sense of mission is matched only by their false sense of certitude.
But there is no easy way out. The Bush administration is eager to get the United Nations more involved but is unwilling to make the necessary concessions. We have no alternative to sticking it out and paying the price for our mistake. Eventually a different president with a different attitude to international cooperation may be more successful in extricating us.
So, President Bush tries to gain the trust of his people back, and the world back, also because in about a few months are the American elections.
Bush went to Iraq on thanksgiving day to give the soldiers a feeling that they are fighting for a reason, for there country and for the world. But it will be a difficult job to gain the trust back with only a visit to Iraq on thanksgivings day and some speeches that might be good.
The visit of president bush to Iraq marked the first time a U.S. president had traveled to Iraq, and concern for Bush's safety kept the trip cloaked in secrecy. Even some members of the Secret Service were kept in the dark about it. Several pictures showed the world that Bush had been in Iraq on thanksgivingsday. But allmost everyone thought that it just was to try to gain the trust back from the people.
There were 617 confirmed coalition deaths trough attacks and bombs from American troops, but also English troops. After the war ended, several troops of different countries went to Iraq. Troops from Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Poland, France and more…. The troops have to keep the safety so the people can live a normal life. That’s very important to rebuild Iraq in economic an several other ways.
Most of the people in The United states of america think that Bush attacked Iraq, beacause there is al lot of oil in the country. Oil makes money and if America had the lead in Iraq they can choose where the oil is going to go. And they can make money with the oil, what is good for the American, economic situation. And people don’t like that, because it is unfear of Bush.
It’s also important to keep the safety in Iraq for the future, because: If the children can go to school, they can get a good job in about a few years and that’s good for Iraq in the future. They can have a good economic position in the middle east so they can concurrate with other countries. If it is unsafe, people will not go to shops, because they are closed. They have no food and than the people will die. That’s also not a good point. So it is important to keep the dafety.
The soldiers don’t have a choice, they have to fight, and they have to do what Bush says. You don’t become a soldier if you don’t want to fight. So it’s a soldiers duty to keep the calm.
Lots of countries want to send their troops to Iraq, because they want to get influence in the selling of the oil that is in Iraq. And they also want to show there good face to the rest of the world. And they want to help the people in Iraq. If a government was good friended with
Saddam Houssein, they will not help, because the rebuild is under the lead of America.
I think that the war against terrorism is not a real war, because it’s a onesided war. The soldiers fight against no-one, because the soldiers from Iraq did’nt offer any defend.

Insofar as any nation is in charge of the world order, it is the USA. That is not to suggest that other countries are exempt from having to concern themselves with the wellbeing of the world. Their attitudes are not without consequence, but it is the USA that matters most.
In about a few months are the American elections. President bush has to challenge with John Kerry. John Kerry has another point of view about the war. So we can see in a few months: Did the people find the war as good or bad. The future will show that to us.
