Where does Christmas comes from?

Every year people set in there room a Christmas tree. They pout Christmas balls in it. And on the top of the tree there is a star or something else. In the Netherlands about 45% people buy a Christmas tree but there are to people who got a fake tree who the said up every year. In the tree they stops everything what is shining. Every year there are new colors, from gold to dark red. Whit Christmas the Santa Claus put presents under the tree. Before it’s Christmas evening the children hang up a sock like we put or shoe on 5 of December

The different between Christmas now and in de past

In the past only the ridge people buy a Christmas tree now the most people buy it. Because Christmas tree’s are not very expensive. The most people put the Christmas tree in the garden so they can save it for the next year. But a lot people just throw it away
Now the most people decorated their house’s much more like you see in Christmas movie’s.
In the past when Christmas fall not one a Sunday the people just go to work, when it is now Christmas we have a holiday.
