Dear Sir/Madam

I would like to refer to the article in The Sunday Telegraph of 16 January last. I am very interested in the way I look and in my body weight too.
I am 15 years old and I am from the Netherlands.

I think somebody looks attractive when he/she radiates, and when he/she is good-looking.
It seems to me that your friends are not interested in the way you look, but they attend more to your character, at least if they are real friends.
But maybe when boys are searching for a girlfriend, they first look at the way the girls look.

Employers do not normally look at the way their employees look. But when you work in a trendy shop where people can buy some clothes or make-up, perhaps you will better look good, and put on some pretty clothes. Sometimes you have to put on some clothes of the company themselves. Then you represent your company.
In other cultures, like the African, they do not have such good clothes as here in Europe. But I think they are glad they have some clothes to put on, and they do not look at any ugly clothes or when somebody looks ugly.
The way I see the people who do not care about the way they look, is that they can do something about it themselves.
When some people look ugly and they do not want to change it, maybe less people like you.

I think that the way somebody looks is less important than a lot of people often think.
