The genre from the book is especially fantasie. The movie was an comedie.

10. Give a summary of the book (about 200 words)
The story is about Mathilda, a little girl. When she was two years old, she could already read the newspaper, and when she was for she read literary books from the library. Now she’s 5 years old. Mathilda goes to school for the first time ever. Miss Marij Engel finds out that Mathilda is a genious. The headteacher, miss Bulstronk, is a bitch. She hates children, especially Mathilda, because her dad treated her with his cars. That’s why she thinks a child of such a guy can be brilliant. But miss Engel doesn’t give up and goes to Mathilda’s parents. But those don’t believe her either. After a while Mathilda finds out she has an other power. With the energie she has inside her she can lift up objects and let them fly. A lot more miracles happen now she knows she has this power. Now she can cope with that bitch of a Bulstronk!!! And she will!! When people find out Mathilda’s dad wasn’t fair with his cars Mathilda’s parents move to Spain. Mathilda doesn’t like the idea of living with her parents the rest of her live, so she stay’s with miss Engel. Happy end for Mathilda, but for Bulstronk…
10. Give your own opinion (about 100 words):
This book was very interesting! It’s a great book if you like to let your fantasie go! Something for me! It’s simple to understand, there are no difficult words or long sentences. I really enjoyed reading it, but Mayhilda isn’t lucky with her parents. They act like she doesn’t even exsists! I was very happy when she stayed with miss Engel at the end of the story. There was finally someone how cared about her! But miss Bulstronk made me angry every time! You can read the book very quick, but the end is a bit short. Nice book!
Belangrijk!
