The last Sherlock Holmes story

The book begins when Dr. Watson’s reads a bunch of papers after 50 years. He has written them himself. In the papers, he tells a story of his best friend Sherlock Holmes and the last case he worked on, called Jack the Ripper.

The story of Watson begins when Jack the Ripper strikes innocent women for the first time. The local police officer of London Ms. Lestrade asks Holmes for help to catch the murderer. He analyses the crime scene and thinks he knows the murderer from a long time ago. He thinks professor Moriarty is the killer. He sets up a trap to catch Moriarty. But he can escape. That night he killed another woman.
Jack the Ripper keeps himself quiet for a week or two but then he strikes again. Now Holmes takes the case very personally and thinks that only he can catch Moriarty. He sees it as a fight of life and death. He now makes a map of the murders in the streets of Whitechapel.
At night he and Watson go search for Moriarty on the streets and when Holmes sees him, he sends Watson back to get help from the police. But Watson thinks his friend is in trouble so he follows his friend to the other side of East London. Holmes goes to a house and changes his look. He talks to a women on a small street and takes her to some sort of a hotel. Watson goes to the side of the building en sees Holmes kiss the women trough the window. Then Watson falls asleep and two hours later he wakes up and looks trough the window and sees Holmes cutting up the women.
Back in London Holmes leaves England to go on a mission in Russia. Watson does not know what to think of the things he saw that night. When Holmes is back he said to Watson that Moriarty is dead. But when Watson asks how Holmes killed him he is silenced.
He and Holmes become friends again and they make a trip trough Europe to escape from how Moriarty came back. Holmes lied about Moriarty. Then Watson takes Holmes to a mountain. There he wants to kill Holmes but he shoots with blank bullets. But when Holmes realizes what he has done, he kills himself by jumping from the mountain.
