2. De achtergrond
Wanneer speelt het boek zich af? Geef wat meer informatie over de mensen die erin voorkomen. Is die achtergrond belangrijk voor de leestekst?
I don’t know when the story is set, but I think it is set in the past because the main character tries to find out something, but all about that subject is still clear now.
Some people are kind and one isn’t. The people who are kind care about each other and always help each other. Felix isn’t nice, he locks his daughter up in her room, because she wants to tell something to Tim, but Tim shouldn’t know this according to Felix.
This information isn’t important to understand the story.

3. Het soort boek
Wat voor boek is het volgens jou? Waarom vind je dit? Is het verhaal realistisch? Leg uit waarom je dat vindt.
It’s a detective book. I think so because the main character tries to find out something and in the whole story he’s busy with this.  It is a realistic story because it could have happen, but many things happen with a lot of chance.

Wie zijn de belangrijkste personen? Beschrijf 2 van hen in ongeveer 30 woorden.
Tim Sanders, Maria and Felix.
Tim Sanders: Tim is a young man who’s in prison. He is an archaeologist and tries to find out something about the treasure from the lost tomb of Queen Cleopatra.
Maria: She’s a girl who’s very rich. She very pretty and wears a long white dress with elegant shoes and a lot of gold rings on her fingers. She has also a bracelet with a cobra round her arm.

5. De samenvatting
Kijk nog eens naar het begin en naar het einde. Beschrijf in minimaal 75 woorden wat daar tussenin gebeurt.
Tim Sanders sits in the train and meets a girl, called Maria. She is wearing bracelets with a cobra on it. The bracelet belongs to a treasure from the lost tomb of Queen Cleopatra, this treasure is a big secret. Maria has at home the treasure; Tim tries to find out a lot about this treasure, so he goes at home with Maria. Maria showed him the whole treasure and Tim is stayed there. Tim finds out a lot about the treasure and turns home. He writes a note about the treasure and the police arrest him. He’s going in prison, in the beginning of the book Tim is in prison. The whole story is a flashback at the time before he went in prison.

6. De titel
Vind je dat de titel goed gekozen is? Waarom? Zou je zelf een andere titel gekozen hebben? Waarom?
Well, not really, the name of the book is very obvious, but the title is good enough.
I would have chosen another title, ‘The mysterious bracelet’ or something, this title is more exiting.

7. Je eigen mening
Heb je het boek met plezier gelezen? Wat vond je er leuk aan en wat vond je minder leuk? Waarom?
Yes, I like the book very much.
I like it because it was a detective, it is very exciting. The book was easy to read, very unpredictable. For example, Tim was eating his food when he found a note, there was a mysterious message on it: ‘You are in terrible danger.’ When I read this I though something very bad is going to happen, but acutely nothing happen, that was funny. The whole story was a flashback, in the beginning he was in jail and at the end he’s going into the jail. That was very nice to read.
There were acutely no things I didn’t like, everything was nice.
