-Title: Animal Farm

-Meaning of the title: Animals started a rebellion and took control of the Manor Farm and they renamed it ‘Animal Farm’
-Author: George Orwell (Eric Blair) was born in 1903 and died in 1950.
-Plot:
One day, the animals of the ‘Manor farm’ started a rebellion and took control of Mr. Jones' farm. The animals decided that the intelligent pigs would do the management and the other animals would do the rest. The pigs where elected to be the leaders or better the dictators... They used 'The Seven Commandments of Animalism' to set up some rules. But unluckily the pigs began to take benefit of their positions and power. Not everyone was happy with the rules and leaders; some animals liked it more than others. But the farm was getting very productively, even though the animals had to work harder. But then troubles started; they needed a leader. Napoleon was elected and became a dictator. The farm had become much wealthier, but the animals had a hard life. But when the pigs had changed all the rules of 'The Seven Commandments' they became human: they whore clothes, talked and drank with people…
-Setting: (Place and time) The story takes place on a farm in England, probably round 1945
-Main character(s): Napoleon, a clever pig, takes the command of the farm and becomes a dictator. He’s very mean and only does things where he can get advantage out.
Snowball, the pig who had the leadership during the rebellion.
Boxer, a hard working horse. Who get’s into trouble at the end.
-Point of view: The novel is told from the point of view of a third-person omniscient narrator.
