Your opinion of this book: 7
I really liked the book, because it was easy to read and to understand and it was funny at the time. I also liked the way that the characters and the surroundings were described, it was very realistic.
It was not a really exciting book, a little boring at the time because it was al about getting married, and nothing really happened. The book was predictable because you know from the beginning that Elizabeth will marry Darcy. But the thing that grappled me was that they had to overcome their pride and their prejudices to realise that they belong to each other.

William Collins asks Elisabeth to marry him. She refuses. Then the girls meet Wickham, Elisabeth likes him.

Elisabeth meets Mr. Darcy again and they like each other. She receives a letter from home. It says that Lydia ran away with Wickham. Later, Lydia writes that she is married to Wickham. Darcy asks for Elisabeths hand and Mr. Bennet gives permission. Elisabeth marries Darcy.
Fragment most liked/most hated:
"You take delight in vexing me. You have no compassion on my poor nerves."
"You mistake, my dear. I have a high respect for your nerves. They are my old friends. I have heard you mention them with consideration these twelve years at last."
"Ah! You do not know what I suffer."
"But I hope you will get over it, and live to see many young men of four thousand a year come into the neighbourhood."
"It will be no use to us, if twenty such should come since you will not visit them."
"Depend upon it, my dear, that when there are twenty, I will visit them all."
