J.K.Rowling was born in Chipping Sodbury. She grew up in Chepstow. After high school she studied France and classic languages. In 1998 she wrote her first book: Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. That was the start of the Harry Potter series. Harry potter and the Deathly Hallows is the most resent published book of the series and also the last one
The books are also been made into movies. The last published film is Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (book 5). The movies of book 6 and 7 (Harry Potter and the Half blood Prince, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows) are expect to be released in the following years.

Explanation of the title:
The main character is Harry Potter.
The Deathly Hallows are three very important objects in the book: an invisibility cloak, the Resurrection stone and the Elder wand. So that’s why the title is: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Short description of the main character(s):
Harry Potter: a 17 year old wizard. His two best friends are Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. He is in love with Ron’s sister, Ginny Weasley. His destiny is the destroy his biggest enemy, Lord Voldemort.
Ron Weasley: a 17 year old wizard. He is one of the best friends of Harry. He is in love with Hermione Granger.
Hermione Granger: a 17 old witch. She’s the other best friend of Harry. She’s in love with Ron Weasley.
Plot:
Harry has a protective spell over him from his mother. But that spell breaks when Harry turns 17 or when he can’t call his aunt and uncle house his home. So the Order of the Phoenix has made a plan to move Harry to the Burrow(Ron’s house). But the journey will be dangerous because Voldemort is after Harry.
And so it is that during the journey Mad-eye Moody is killed by Voldemort. But Harry is save at the Burrow.
A few days later Ron’s brother gets married. But at that night Voldemort takes the Ministry of Magic’s over and attacks the Burrow. Harry, Ron and Hermione flee and go to Grimmauld place(the house of Harry’s godfather, who died). There they’re talking of what doing next. Harry wants to find the other horcruxes *. So they are going to look for the horcruxes, but during one of there journeys one of the Death Eaters gets in Grimmauld place, so they flee again.
They find out about the Deathly Hallows. The invisibility cloak from Harry is The invisibility cloak of the Deathly Hallows. And they find out that Dumbledore is the owner of the Elder wand. And Voldemort is after the Elder wand…
They find all the horcruxes except one. It must be something of Ravenclaw, but they don’t know where to seek. But then Harry gets in contact with Voldemort’s mind and finds out that the horcrux is hidden at Hogwarts. So Harry, Ron and Hermione go to Hogwarts. But Voldemort is checking all the places where he had hidden all his horcruxes and finds out that there gone. And he’s also coming to Hogwarts. Harry finds the horcrux and a big fight between Voldemort and his followers and Harry and his followers begins. Lots of people get killed. And Harry finds out that he must let Voldemort kill himself, because heself is the last horcrux. So Harry lets Voldemort kill him. But Voldemort only kills the part of himself that is in Harry and Harry’s soul isn’t damaged and Harry rise again and kills Voldemort. The end.

The biggest part of the book is in chronology structure, but there are also some flashbacks. A example is when Harry is watching the memory of Severus Snape.
Theme:
The theme of the book is love or death. They both play a big part in the book.
Opinion:
I love the book!!! I read al the previous books and this is probably the last book. And I loved reading it. But there was one thing that I think could be better and that is the end… I think it’s a bit weak. You can easily predict the end. Because I think that Harry wins a bit to easy from Voldemort. I think that there should be a bit bigger fight between. But the rest of the book is great!!! It’s full of jokes, tension, happy moments, and lot of more!!! When I should describe the book with one word I would say: Genius!!!
