1. Titelbeschrijving
Eddy & the movie star. vertaling: Eddy & de filmster. Het boek gaat over een reporter Eddy die een filmster moet interviewen.
2. Keuze en verwachting
Ik heb het boek gekozen omdat het zo’n dun boekje was en omdat het wel een leuk kaft had. Toen ik de achterkant had gelezen leek het mij ook wel een leuk boek en wou ik graag weten hoe het afliep. Mijn verwachting is dat Eddy het toch wel leuk gaat vinden om over de filmster te gaan schrijven.
3. Verwachtingen uitgekomen
Mijn verwachtingen zijn wel uitgekomen want Eddy schrijft een verhaal over de filmster en vindt het volgens mij ook wel leuk, in ieder geval vindt hij de filmster wel leuk.
4. Samenvatting
Eddy Nakamura is a reporter with the Daily news. Mr Lee asks him to write a story about the movie star, Cathy Chen and the tennis player, Paul Kwok. Eddy goes to the house of miss Chen. He heard a woman crying and a man screaming.
He went to the libary and finds some information. With the information and what he had heard that afternoon, he draws a conclusion but a wrong conclusion. He writes an article with the wrong information. Mr Lee reads the article and says that Eddy must to do it over again. He meets Cathy and she tells Eddy everything. Miss Chen was blackmailed by Su Lin with some photos from Cathy and another man. Her fiancée Paul Kwok is a jealous man, and Cathy Chen didn’t want him to see the photos. Cathy asked Eddy to buy the photos. Su Lin thought that she sold the photos to a newspaper. But Eddy doesn’t gave the photos to the Daily news but he gives the photos to miss Chen. Mr Lee was so angry that Eddy gave the photos to miss Chen that he gives Eddy a bad job at the Daily news. But after a few weeks Cathy Chen asked Eddy to write a story about her secret wedding with Paul Kwok. Mr Lee places the article and gives Eddy promotion.
