Yes, Ransom is out of earth, he is gone to Malacandra. The earth is in the speech of the hrossa ‘Thulcandra’, but because they aren’t in the same heaven, send they no messages to them, they didn’t like that, so they named the planet ‘silent planet’.

Ransom, you follow him mostly, so you know him as best. He is also changing; in the beginning he is afraid of everything, later, when he could speak in the speech of the hrossa he could things ask. So, from than, he could ask how it should be.

This is typical, it is an animal that could speak, normally so see that only in child-books, not in adult-books.

Write a short summary of this book
Ransom is on a walking tour and he came in a house. The woman of the house said that her son wasn’t coming back. Ransom goes to the building where he has to be, and creep thought the hedge to the garden. There was a fight with the boy and Devine and Weston. Ransom helps the boy and knows Devine, so he got some drink. From that drink he lost consciousness. When he was awake, he was laying in a spaceship to Malacandra. So he was kidnapped.
On the way of eighty days to Malacandra he heard the bad news that the planet was inhabit, though sorns, Devine and Weston where afraid of the sorns, so Ransom also. But also for Devine and Weston, he thought that they would do bad things with him.
Malacandra was surprisingly a very colorful planet, the vegetation was purple.
When Ransom get the change escape, he did. The second day of his flight he met his first hross, who could speak in a strange language. The hross give him food and drink. Ransom goes with him in a boat and they came in the village of the hrossa.
From then he lived there. He learned the language of the hrossa and learnt much from them.
On a day they have to fight to an animal in the lake there. By the fight there was an eldil (a kind of ghost) speaking to Ransom that he have to go to Oyarsa (a kind of god). A hross showed him the way. After the first day someone should pick him up. That hnou (the word for human) was a sorn, Ransom was very shocked, but that was fast gone, it was a nice man, Augray. He helped Ransom further to the handramit (a kind of valley) where he should meet Oyarsa. Because of the little concentration of oxygen, he could not alone go to there. From Augray he got a kind of tube with oxygen, so he could breathe.
In the handramit he was allowed to do what he wants, until Oyarsa was calling him, though his eldils.
He saw a big drawing somewhere, it where drawings of the planets with a draw of the inhabitants. When he was looking to that, a pfifltrigg (another kind of hnou) drew him also.
On a morning he was waked by an eldil that he has to come to Oyarsa. He goes.
Oyarsa told him that strangers of Thulcandra were taking suns’ blood (gold) with them. Oyarsa didn’t like this, and would ask whether they would stop. They don’t listened, so Oyarsa send a sorn to them, for asking if anyone would come to Oyarsa, but they where afraid and went back to Thulcandra. They where thinking that Oyarsa should kill them, so they picked Ransom up on earth and bring hìm to Malacandra.
He also asked almost everything about the silent planet Thulcandra.
Weston and Devine have to be punished, but Oyarsa hasn’t the power to kill them, that’s against the ‘rules’. They have to leave Malacandra, a journey of ninety day’s, with luck. So, they got for ninety day’s oxygen, and after that ninety day’s the space ship shall be nothing anymore.
The journey was very difficult, but after much tension, they landed on earth. One moment later the space ship was gone, it was nowhere to find.
