Sarah Harland is nineteen years old. She is in prison.
On a day a woman is in front of the prison. She is called Anna, the mother of Sarah. She is an English woman, about fifty years old. She knocked on the door. Nothing happened. Then a window in the door is opened and someone looked at her. Anna says:” I want to see my daughter." “What’s her name.” said the man. Anna says:” Her name is Sarah Harland. It’s important.” The man opens after the door twenty minutes and says:” you have ten minutes.” “Mother, I’m very happy to see you.” says Sarah. Her mother asks her what happened. Sarah says that it isn’t true and that her mother must believe her. Anna says that she will believe her. She asks:” What has happened. Tell me and begin at the beginning." Sarah doesn’t understand. Anna says:” Why did the police arrest you? When did they bring you to the prison?” Sarah says that it was last week on the airport, when they arrived. They found heroine (white dead is an other name) in three tubes of toothpaste. Her mother asks about Stephen, Sarah’s old boyfriend. Sarah says that is wasn’t Stephen who was with her, and that she left him two months ago. It was Hassan she says. And Hassan is in the prison too, but he knows nothing about the drugs either. But Stephen was in the plane too. When the ten minutes where over, the man who looked at them says that she most go to the court tomorrow.
Anna goes to the police. She meets inspector Aziz, the man who arrested Sarah. Anna asks him about Hassan. But the inspector asks her about Sarah. He asks why Sarah came to this country. Anna answers: ”She has finished her school last year, and she works in a hospital for six months." Stephen her boyfriend visited her in a lot of countries. Aziz say that young people sometimes do bad things. Anna say that Sarah would never do that, he must tell about Hassan. The inspector say he’s a rich boy, from a good family.
The next morning she goes to court. There are many people there, and the judge, jury and lawyers come in with Sarah and Hassan. The police lawyer begins. These young people come into this country with heroine in tubes toothpaste. People die from this drug. “I can tell you, this drug is expensive.” He says that we must stop these people. The law says that these people must die. A policeman tells what has happened. The policeman says he found two tubes in the girl’s bag and one in the boy’s bag. Mr Cheng, Sarah’s and Hassan’s lawyer, stands up. He asks if they have looked in everyone’s bags. `There was no time for that`, he says. The police man thought and says: ”There was a telephone call. Someone telephoned before the plane arrived. The telephone caller say that there was some heroine in the plane. A young man and a girl he says. On that moment Stephen came in, he says he want to help.
Later that morning in front of the courtroom, Mr Cheng began to ask Sarah questions. After Mr Cheng the police lawyer asks her difficult questions.
At one o’clock the judge left the court for one hour. Anna talked to Sarah and says that  her lawyer, Mr Cheng, is very good, and Stephen and I can help you. Sarah was angry and says that she wouldn’t talk about him. She says: “He is different now and I don’t love him.` Anna went to see Mr Cheng and Inspector Aziz. She wants to know who called the airport. The judge comes back and asks Hassan to come up front. Mr Cheng asks Hassan questions. Then the police lawyer asks him: “It was your toothpaste, but why  did your girl carry it?" He says nothing. The police lawyer says: “so you helped her with the problems that she had with her boyfriend. I don’t believe it and I think the jury doesn’t believe it either."
The judge says: “it is now four o’clock in the afternoon. Please be here at ten o’clock tomorrow."  Stephen says that Sarah was innocent, but he isn’t. He must die. Mr Cheng found it important to know who has called. He is going to ask the police and asks Mrs Harland to come with him. Anna goes with him and asks if Stephen is coming. Stephen can’t, he’s going to meet a man, he says. Anna said to come in the night. " No, no, come tomorrow morning to my hotel."
Anna and Mr Cheng talk to the police but they can’t tell who made the telephone call. Inspector Aziz telephoned two or three times, and talked to Anna again. Anna was much happier when she left him. Then she went to the prison to see Sarah. Anna says to Sarah that she has a very good lawyer. Sarah says that he can do nothingabout it. “The heroin was in the tubes toothpaste and those tubes were in my bag. The jury knows that.” Sarah says. Sarah stops talking, and puts her hands on her stomach. Anna looked at the man and say: “a doctor quickly."  The man runs away. Sarah says it is alright. “I think I’m going to stay alive of it." " What are you saying."  “Don’t be angry mother, I will get Hassan’s baby.” she says. And they couldn’t kill a baby and its mother.
Anna is in Stephen’s hotel. She asks him some questions about Sarah and Hassan.
Anna opena her handbag and geta something out of it. " It’s a tube of toothpaste"  Stephen says. Anna says that a policeman gave it to her, "you gave him ten tubes of toothpaste. Stephen moves to the door. But there is inspector Aziz. " Let’s go"  he says, " I can tell your story to the judge."
At eleven o’clock that morning, Sarah and Hassan are free. Sarah asks Anna how she knew about Stephen. Inspector Aziz says: “Your mother is a doctor, you remember. “You say he was different, and I looked at him and he has dark big eyes, and his body moves always. I began to think, and heroine does that to people.” Her mother says.

PLOT
I found it an interesting book with exciting things in it. It is a good and nice story for someone who likes detective story’s. You must read it.
