Chapters 1-4
Laurie is so angry with her schoolmates who also work for the school paper because she do alone working on the paper.
Amy need some cheering up because French was so boring.
The two things bothered Ben about modern students.
- It did not determine the students if they came too late.
- The students did not feel it as an obligation their make house work.
Of the students was least impressed by the film Robert billings, he even didn’t see the film because he was sleeping.
Laurie doesn’t join David to he cafeteria after history class because she was impressed of the film wants to talk about film.
David and Laurie feel different about he film.
-David: it’s history and it was horrible
-Laurie: must never happened again
With Brian and David’s football team go it not good because they were unmotivated and lose ever 4 matches.
Amy’s eyes go “wide with fear” because she think that Owens arrives and she was smoking.
Ben Ross get so many books on nazi Germany from the library because he couldn’t give a answer who the kids asked.

Chapters 5-8
Brad sticks a small kick me sign on Roberts back.
The first reaction was when Ben says he’s going to teach tem discipline they think it will be boring, the don’t like it.
David likes the wave very much and brad thinks the wave it’s not a big deal.
The effect on Ben was he got caught up in it.
The surprise Ben get was that the students are all sitting straight and quiet when Ben comes into the classroom.
Ben named their movement the wave because it is a pattern of change.
All the children make them homework now.
Christy was warning Ben and says be careful don’t push it too far.
David and Laurie know each other because they walk to school together.

Chapters 9-13
The problem of the Grapevine was that the don’t have enough stories and the have to publish it in week.

The wave isn’t good for Robert billings because he isn’t really changed.
Owens want a word with Ben because he is worried about the wave.
Ben promise Owens that he won’t get the wave to far.
The main point of the letter from the writer is that you are pushed to go into the wave.
Ben allow Robert to become his bodyguard because that was required in the experiment as well.
The argument between Laurie and David that Laurie doesn’t want to go to the rally.
Laurie get support of Alex and Carl (member from the grapevine) they’re going to give negative attentions to the wave.

Laurie refuses to do the wave greet.

Chapters 14-17
Laurie wants a word with Amy before the school paper comes out because to warn her in advance so she could get out of the wave before the wave was a trouble.
David was going to have a word with Laurie because he wanted that’s she says bad things about the wave.
The advice of Christy for Ben was: stop the wave it’s disrupting the whole school.
After a grapevine meeting wrote someone ‘enemy’ on her locker door.
David wakes up and realises what the wave is doing with him after he throws Laurie on the ground.
The wave had taught Ben that he had enjoyed power and that power could be very seductive.
Ben doesn’t tell David and Laurie about his plans because they might tell the others and the wave would end without the pupils knowing why it had end.
Principal Owens want another talk with Ben because he’s had lots of complains from parents and teachers, he wants Ben to end of the wave.
The promise Ben makes to Owens was: I’ll end it by the end of the day.
Ben apologise to his students because it was a very painful lesson.
