The Adventures of Spider-Man
Orpaned at an early age, Peter Parker goes to live in Queens, NY with his aunt May and uncle Ben. On a school trip, he is bitten by a spider… but this is no ordinary spider. It is a "genetically altered" spider that gives Peter spiderlike strength and agility. It also gives him the power to tap into situations that need his immediate help. The first thing he does after he discovers his new powers, is participating in a boxing competition. Spider-Man wins but he doesn’t get the full reward. Then a man steals the money from the boss. Peter let it happen because he is angry. Later, when he goes home, he sees a car accident. It is his uncle Ben! He dies and Peter, dressed as Spider-Man, finds the murderer, discovers he’s the thief from the boxing game and kills him. Peter feels guilty for uncle Ben’s death. That’s when he starts saving people in public.
Spider-Man is born! Peter-turned Spider-Man remembers something that his Uncle Ben told him once: "With great power, comes great responsibility." He commits to using his new powers for good - in the fight of crime.
But danger lurks in the streets of the city… the Green Goblin wants to take over the world, starting with New York City! Peter, who also works as photographer, has a big problem with the Green Goblin. He seems to know who Spider-Man is en attacks his friends and family. At the OsCorp Festival, the Green Goblin shows up and almost kills Mary-Jane, the girl Peter is in love with. At the end, Peter knows that the Green Goblin is the father of his best friend, Norman Osbourne and Peter kills him in a fight.
