Laurie Saunders is a student at the Gordon High School. She sits in a small office, a room filled with desks, typewriters and light tables. She was going to start with the school paper Gordon Grapevine. After she did her work, she goes to Amy Smith. Her best friend. Together they go to their history class. Their teacher was Ben Ross. Today Ben told the class something about the World War 2. After they saw a movie about the WW2, all the students were amazed. Ben Ross was glad that the students paid attention. David, Laurie her boyfriend, was even amazed. Laurie asked Ben Ross, how all those people didn’t see that Hitler was an bad man. Ben Ross couldn’t answer that question. When the bell rang, Laurie, Amy, David en Brad talked about the problem there was. When Ben went home, he could not understand that either. So he went reading. After a few hours he still didn’t know. The next day Ben Ross wanted to do an experiment. He would make an group of the class. He wrote three words on the black board. Strength Through Discipline. And they would call the group The Wave. Ben Ross wanted to have some rules. If they had to give an answer they had to stand next to their table, and start they sin with Mr Ross…. Everybody thought it was great. But Laurie didn’t.
When Ben Ross was at home, his wife (who was an teacher at the school also) warned him. She sad that they’re was an fight between two students. On of them was an member of The Wave. Ben Ross told her that he would think about it to stop The Wave. But every day it became worse en worse. Every day that Ben Ross was in front of the class he felt the power that he had, because he was the leader of The Wave. Than Laurie write a article about how bad The Wave was. After a couple of days, the members of The Wave had a meeting in the gym. Laurie didn’t wanted to go to the meeting, but her boyfriend David wanted that she went with him to the meeting. Than David had to tell Laurie that she most stop writing negative about The Wave. But Laurie didn’t want to listen and wanted to run away. But than David hit her in her face. Since that moment David believed that The Wave was a bad thing. Then they went together to the gym where the meeting was, and told Ben Ross to stop the experiment. Ben Ross did. And so they stopped together The Wave, but it will never be the same again ever.
