Samenvatting:
It is a story about 4 boys: Vern, Chris, Gordie and Teddy.
Together they form a group. They have a clubhouse were they smoke and drink beer.
Suddenly Vern stormed into the clubhouse and said that there was a dead body somewhere in the wood. They want to look for it.
On their trip to the dead body they faced many situations and learned a lot about friendship and themselves.
When they arrived at the body, there are a lot of insects on the body.
They looked at the body without saying something.
Suddenly a couple of boys came out of the woods.
Vern, Chris, Gordie and Teddy know them. They live in the same place they live.
They said that Vern, Chris, Gordie and Teddy may not take away the body to the police to get the reward.
They want to take it and say: “if you do not leave, we will hurt you”.
They were coming closer to the four boys, but suddenly Chris picks up a gun that he had stolen from his dad to have something that can protect them from danger. He shoots into the water.
The boys were a little bit scared and stepped backwards.
They said that they would get them later.
They left the place and the boys said nothing for about 10 minutes.
Later they where talking about the body. They decided to leave the body and to go home.
When they arrived home someone called the police and said where the body laid and did not say who he was.

Gordie is the headperson.
Gordie is the sensitive one. At home it has always been like he doesn't exist. But when his brother died, it was getting worse.
But he always believed in himself.
